Princeton University is considered a coed private university situated on a vast campus around and in suburban Princeton, in New Jersey. This is the 4th oldest educational establishment in the USA and one of the 8th Ivy League universities. Set at Elizabeth in New Jersey in the year1746, Princeton University was relocated to the city of Princeton in the year 1756 and later on renamed “Princeton University” in the year 1896.
The University is chiefly concentrated on academic research and undergraduate education, though it also provides a few PhD programs and professional Master’s degrees in an array of various subjects. Princeton University’s focus on undergraduate education is extraordinary among major research universities. At over 11 million volumes, the university’s library is amongst the biggest university libraries in the world. Primary fields of research take in anthropology, entomology, geophysics, and robotics, when the Forrestal Campus can offer special options for the study of meteorology and plasma physics.
Initially a Presbyterian institution, the University is current non-sectarian and it makes no religious requirements on its students. Princeton University has rough ties with Westminster Choir College of Rider University as well as Princeton Theological Seminary.
